Who Am I?
My name is Emma, and I am currently a PhD student at Temple University. A fun fact about me is that I have lived in every timezone in the continental US! Originally, I am from Dallas, Texas (Central Time Zone). Then, I moved to Vermont to attend Middlebury College (there's Eastern Time Zone). My first true research experience was in Jackson, Wyoming (Hello Mountain Time!), and last but certainly not least, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area after graduation (Pacific Time Zone - check and check!). I can't say I have a favorite, but celebrating New Year's Eve 4 times in the Pacific Time Zone is pretty fun!
When I am not in the lab, I love doing things such as baking cookies, hiking, camping, thrifting, gardening, watching reality TV, and playing video games. I also love trying out new things! The hobby I want to try out next is stained glass art!
